Hi. I recently received an email from Telstra advising that, from 20th March, my $35 mobile phone plan would include 2Gb of data. No charge would apply for excess usage, only a slowing of speed. Another email a week ago advised me that, from next month, my data charges would be capped at $100 per month.
Does anybody have any idea what I should believe please?

As your plan doesn't include the automatic 1GB for $10 top ups, you can ignore the $100 per month cap email. It has confused a lot of people.

Re: Data allowance
Didn't you receive an email advising of the changes? The extra 2 g was because of the corona virus and the $100 cap is because of restructuring, hope this helps
