Faulty metering with Wireless broadband
Has anyone else had a ridiculous spike today with data (over 20,000 GB????) that has resulted in the internet being slow.
This happened after 9am as it was at around 200GB this morning.
Wondering what has happened as this usage is impossible!
Was this helpful?
- Yes it was, thank you

Bigpond Cable user here, had the same thing happen just now. Suddenly got all 3 warning emails about usage and found the internet no longer works at all.
Online chat would not help me. Hung up after 30 minutes on hold to tech support.
Pretty sure I have not used 559GB today as my gateway says I have only used 19GB since 2/12.

Re: Faulty metering with Wireless broadband
Hi Cathian and Tom5051
Sorry for the delay in response.
We’re aware of an issue for some customers in South Australia with the Cable Usage Meter. We’re working to fix this ASAP.
Thanks for your patience.
