Hi,
Say if we have a product that is being sold in US and has necessary certifications. But now it has to be sold in Australian market and the company wants to use Telstra sim, then do we need any specific certifications? Are there any OTA requirements like TIS.
Kindly let me know.

You need to get it approved for use in Australia.
Go to https://www.acma.gov.au/follow-our-rules-supply-your-product to find out the details.
You will also need to contact Telstra (Crowdsupport is not an official support channel - primarily customers assisting other customers) to find out their requirements for use on their network (the ACMA will be able to assist with the appropriate contacts).
