Foxtel Go Error message PE8002

I'm using an un-secure network, and therefore a VPN. However, when I attempt to use my Foxtel Go, I get error message PE8002.

I have good speed and no issue browsing other sites, but I cannot watch my Foxtel Go.

Was this helpful?

Re: Foxtel Go Error message PE8002

Hi @luppies

Thanks for reaching out.

Can I ask if you get the same result and error when not connected to the VPN?

Please let me know so I can best assist further.

Re: Foxtel Go Error message PE8002

It could be that the VPN is based overseas (most likely) and is therefore making it look like your device is outside of Australia. This can cause a PE8002 error (DRM rights management) as Foxtel would only have the rights to broadcast programs within Australia.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Set it & forget it
