Foxtel iq3 keeps losing sound

Pay IQ3 Foxtel keeps losing sound. Have changed HDMI cable, new one, and still having problems. Will have sound and the lose it. Have to unplug power and reset box to have sound. Then it loses sound and have to unplug again.

Is it plugged directly into a TV, or into an AV receiver?

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
