HD Channels Sound

Why do the HD channels require the volume to be increased when we change from non HD Channels?

Was this helpful?

Re: HD Channels Sound

I can't answer that specific question @GPC ... but I can comment in support of it because, in my experience, channel volume is, well, all over the place.  I rarely find I can switch from one channel to another without having to adjust the volume; they're often significantly (painfully!) different.  Yes, right now for example, 210 is a bit louder than 110, but 211 is louder again.

You'll have to learn to live with it, in the same was as ads are often louder than everything else.

By the way, this has been discussed for years, e.g. this post is from almost a decade ago!
