Simplest way is to call 132200 and say "Foxtel" at the prompt.

See tv-foxtel-price-guide-fx01213-28-september-21.pdf for the current pricing.

Basically it's $25 per month plus:

  • Multiroom installation $235 (iQ3 box, professional installation = $100, standard connection = $35, iQ3 equipment fee = $100)
  • or $285 (iQ4 box, professional installation = $100, standard connection = $35, iQ4 equipment fee = $150)
  • or $234 (iQ5 only box, professional installation = $100, standard connection = $35, iQ5 only equipment fee = $99)
  • or $334 (iQ5 with Hard Drive, professional installation = $100, standard connection = $35, iQ5 with Hard Drive equipment fee = $199). Costs may be lower if professional installation is not required

Re: How do I order an extra box for bedroom?

Have you tried using Foxtel Go on a mobile device, rather than a full box? Only a subset of channels, but Go is free.. 🙂

Foxtel Go is only free if they have Multiscreen as part of their package, otherwise it's $15 per month. Still a lot cheaper than a second box though.

Multiroom and Multiscreen are two different things.

@Jupiter   if you read the details multiroom or multiscreen is required if you want to cast...  I KNOW they are different things, but the DETAIL refers to both..

Re: How do I order an extra box for bedroom?

Multiroom is if you want extra iQ boxes in different rooms. It does not have anything to do with Foxtel Go or casting.

Multiscreen is the ability to use Foxtel Go on mobile devices and includes the ability to cast it to TV screens.

Multiscreen is included in the Platinum Plus pack, but can be added to the other packs.

Re: How do I order an extra box for bedroom?

You are wrong @Jupiter .  I had just theplain, non Multiroom/Multiscreen version and Foxtel Go worked fine with that arrangement. I kept that and still use it extensively. I have added a seperate installation with multiroom and Foxtel Go works with that just fine too, and that has also got Multiscreen now and Foxtel Go still works.

I also recently setup two basib Foxtel paxkages for clients, definitely not Platinim Plus, Mulitroom or Multiscreen and they use Foxtel Go just fine...

From the Foxtel Go information page ..  a couple of bits of information you might have missed..  but heck, why let facts or actual user experience interfere with your assertions...
