IQ2 Failing

I have had Foxtel for many years (now through Telstra) and still running the original IQ2 set top box from when they were first introduced. In the past 6 months this box has been failing with recordings refusing to play or just failing to record and live pause or rewind not working. It is getting to a point that I have to do a power reset every week just to keep it functioning. Talking to staff at 131999 over the past 4 months just has them repeating the same resets and it starts to work only to fail again after a few days. I have pleaded for a replacement box even another IQ2 but as they are able to 'fix' it on each call they say they cannot do this. Does anyone know what I can do or who I need to talk to for a replacement box?
