My iq4 keeps cutting out or freezing. I have to constantly turn it on and off

Does it cut out/freeze with both live channels and on demand?

Are you connected to the modem/internet by Wi-Fi or ethernet cable?

Does your IQ get warm/hot? Is there plenty of air space around it?

 

Heavy cloud cover and rain can cause satellite signal interference/attenuation. With the IQ/TV on, go to TV Guide, then Settings (Left Side) then Advanced Settings and Signal Test..  what signal levels are you getting?
