Have you checked the IQ4 settings? (Home, go left to the Gear Wheel, then Advanced | Picture Settings)
Have you checked the HDMI cable? tried a different HDMI cable (quality is important for 4K)?
Have you tried another input on the TV, checked the TV settings?
As the picture is better on the old TV, the IQ 4 is probably not at fault, other than Display settings which it may not have picked up correctly.
Too many devices, probably an addict :-) also a tinkerer and developer of stuff..
