ready to change Bundle / Plan.

Answered

Hi , We are currently on an old Telstra Bundle ,"Home Internet Entertainment Plus with Sport".

as we have recently purchased a new Smart TV we are looking at changing our bundle ,plan.

We are on NBN it has now settled , and the website notes that we are HFC ,

We have an old silver Foxtel Set top box , .

We have looked on line and not sure how to go about contacting a real person to discuss options.

The Telstra website has conflicting info, ring 132200 or use the actual website to change our plan., Change your Telstra internet plan will this link recognise that we have an old bundle ,and by using this link can we assume that once we pick the new plan all of the old "parts" of the bundle will be removed and the new "parts" ,will move with a minimum of  problem. Or will there be downtime

eg. internet phone line ,change from Foxtel From Telstra to  "Foxtel Now "..etc.

Re: ready to change Bundle / Plan.

You would be better off contacting Telstra to discuss as you will need to get your Foxtel Box replaced with an iQ4 box (which requires a satellite dish installed).

Either pop into a Telstra Store or;

Send a message using the My Telstra app on your mobile (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen). If the bot does not understand the query, type "Speak to a consultant" and you will be transferred to the queue to chat with a human. It may take a few hours to get an initial response and you will receive a notification on your phone when someone responds.

And Foxtel Now is a different product than Foxtel.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
