rental fee for foxtel box

Do people pay $10 for a rental fee for their foxtel box?  I have had foxtel for years and never heard about a rental fee but now Telstra tell me I should be paying one

Hope you were able to get this sorted. For future reference, the first box is included in your package with no rental costs. There's additional charges for multiroom boxes which vary from $15.00 - $25.00 per month.

We only have the one foxtel box and have never heard of having to pay a rental for it.  I suggested that I would place the matter in the hands of the telecommunications ombudsman and telstra said they would look into it and so far they have not got back to me, so I assume they know they made a mistake.
