Upgraded to IQ4 but cannot record

Hi, We just upgraded to IQ4 from IQ2, but cannot record, responds with a message that advises us we require a Foxtel hard drive!

 

 

Is this correct?

 

Says on Telstra you can record up to three shows.

It sounds like the iQ4 box is faulty. Have you tried unplugging the iQ4 from the power, waiting at least 30 seconds and then powering it back up (it may not have registered the hard drive correctly on start up)?

 

If the message keeps coming up, you are going to need to contact support and request that a replacement iQ4 be sent.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
