FOXTEL channels constantly freezing

My FOXTEL channels freeze every 10 seconds and display the message "loading Internet channel, please wait". I've had the channels with about 9 months and this has only been happening for the last month or so. I use an Ethernet cable and my internet connection is working normal and Ethernet is at 100mbps. My wifi is also slower than normal.

Are you on ADSL or Cable?  The freezing problem will be due to your internet connection, not the wiring within your premises.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Hi PhilWolliCreek,

 

if it has only happened recently, try checking your account to see if you are over your monthly quota, also try an isolation test to see if anything in the house is effecting the Adsl speed. I am also having the same issue - usually when i am trying to watch the football!! This has only become an issue over the last three weeks after we had a major outage in our area - and ever since the internet light on the modem is flickering constantly.  I have tried three times to call faults for assistance each time I have waited for over half an hour and given up waiting.
