RCS on Pixel 3a stopped working last couple of days.

In the last couple of days RCS chat messages have stopped going through on my Pixel3a. The message just hangs there and doesn't go through. If I change back to "use SMS/MMS only" for the intended recipient the message goes through. Any ideas as to why this would of started happening very recently (last 2-3 days?)? I have updated the phone for latest android patches, cleared the message cache, and reset access points to default and nothing has helped. Was sending RCS messages fine to the same people before this started happening. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
