Slow 4G speed

I am not satisfied with slow speeds with my 4G service, i pay a premium price and expect much better speeds. I am at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast. My pixel phone has 4G enabled, rebooted phone several times with latest Android software ect. I inserted a Vodafone sim with 4G and it is 3 times faster than that of Telstra. I want to cancel my contract but will be slugged a hefty fee as i still have 12 months left on the contract. It is a total waste of money, i have used Telstras services for years and spent thousands of dollars for your services. The least you could do is release me from this contract free of charge.... Not happy at all.....
