Unable to transfer RCS messages from Galaxy s7 to Pixel 5

I purchased a new Pixel 5 yesterday and all data transferred except RCS messages. I hace contacted Samsung and Pixel but no solution. Anyone else having a similar issue?

The RCS messaging systems that Samsung and Google use are different systems, so the messages will not transfer across between Samsung and Google devices.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
