WiFi calling with Pixel 1

Does anyone know if wifi calling works on the Pixel?
Running 8.0.0. I've checked Google and it seems the Telstra Pixel is missing the option?

No, the Google Pixel is not listed on the compatible devices list for WiFi Calling.

Thanks, that's a bit disappointing the Telstra version doesn't allow it.

The Pixel 2 is also not listed but if you check the phone setting in the Telstra shop that already has a sim in it then you see the Wifi calling option is there and enabled, so i bet you if you take that sim and use it in the pixel 1,that you willl sundenly have the wifi calling also. I Think actually im going to try it today.

The Pixel 2 I am using also doesn't have WiFi calling option. Non-Telstra sim card.
