Funny. You just described exactly how Google Home or Alexa works, including the type and number (although greatly underestimated) of devices available. There's really zero difference between them, just which American mega-Corporation you pay your money to.


And btw, Telstra exited the Smarthome space at the end of 2020 and transferred customers to Google Home.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
