I'm not sure why some Telstra employee has moved this to the Modems and Routers section of crowd support. I rebooted my router (a non Telstra device). The only piece of Telstra hardware I touched was the thing I had problems with, the SMART HOME HUB which is why I posted in that forum. Can someone clarify to me why this isn't a SMART HOME query and answer so that I post in the correct forum in the future? thanks
