3 complaints made and nothing fixed - TIO?

I have lodged 3 complaints with Telstra in relation to having a download speed of 0.2 mbs.  I received a call back after the first and the resolution was that they would organise to get equipment sent to me as nothing has been sent. Still no equipment received. I have lodged 2 more complaints and not had any response from those ones. Is this the point I have to contact the TIO?

What equipment were they going to send you?


It sounds like you have a Smartmodem and the light on the front is blue. That would mean that you have been operating on the 4G backup and your service has been throttled to 256kpbs (0.256Mbps) as it has gone over its' quota and you need to do 2 things.


First, ask for the webform to be submitted to unshape your 4G backup and secondly to get your Home Broadband service fixed.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
