90% of Websites Blocked Due to Parental Controls but Don't Have Broadband Connect!

Recently during a service disruption our internet came back online with a huge pile of access controls. We contacted Telstra who said we had Broadband Poect Activated (didn't ask for it, but hey). Operator told us he had cancelled the service and within 2 days our system would be back online. It did come back online, and we could access everything again, Facebook, Pinterest, Dropbox, Google Apps, all the sites I used for work.

But then our service dropped out again three times consecutively the same evening and we were back to where we started. Multiple calls, online chat, techs taking over my machine to check what was going on, and nothing. They can't tell me what is wrong only that we don't have Broadband Protect anymore.

But then when I try and log in with my usual Telstra log-ins I get this error message:


Can anyone help? This is seriously impacting my ability to work and I can't get any answers or even an idea of how long this might take to fix?

PS, problem exists on all devices in all browsers whilst on the home wifi, though goes away immediately if I tether 4G internet from my phone to my computer instead. Because of this though I keep blitzing through my data by doing this, and I can't keep paying the excess charges. Please help!

Can you confirm that you have logged into https://my.telstra.com.au to confirm that Telstra Broadband Protect has definitely not been enabled?

It most definitely isn't. This has been confirmed by a number of tech support assistants over the phone also.
