ADSL connection....connection process

Answered

Hi,

I have recently applied for ADSL 2+  service.

Todate I have received a Welcome pack and advised that my phone is working.

What is the normal process/timing regarding the supply of the modem and the actual broadband connection.

I am still waiting for the Home Network Gateway to arrive.

Regards

Re: ADSL connection....connection process

Generally speaking the ADSL connection is able to be activated 4 business days after the phone service is activated...

The modem can, depending on your location, take between 7 and 10 business days to come out... I would suggest if it isn't out in 10 business days then something is up and it would be worth contacting Telstra

If you have your order number (something like 1-6xx xxx xxx) you could try using the tracker on https://www.startrack.com.au/ just select "Enter Reference Numbers" and put the order number in the search box... or you can request the consignment number from Telstra, either will let you track the delivery of the modem.
