ADSL down in postcode 3071 since 30/11... more than 2 weeks outage and no end in sight!!
My home ADSL internet in 3071 has been down for more than 2 weeks now! Outages page confirms outage exists due to cable damage but no restoration date provided. Previously it said 17th Dec, but this has since been changed to 'To be Confirmed'. 24x7 chat and calls have high volumes and not able to find out any updates. Home automation devices including security devices are all but useless now without broadband. All the callcentre did when I last spoke to someone from Telstra a week ago was to add data to my mobile phone account, which doesn't help when i need a connection at home while i'm out and my mobile obviously goes wherever i go. Anyone know anything about this outage and when it might be restored and if it'll happen this side of the Christmas period when I assume everything will shut down including any possible civil repair works??
