ADSL2+ No Internet Connection

I have recently been connected to ADSL2+ with the Telstra Smart Modem - Since getting the connection not once has the internet worked. We went onto the mobile network and then since then the light has been blue on the modem.

 

I have reset and turned off and back on again and not once has it worked through the wired connection.
