Alexa no longer working on powerline - Telstra router security issue

I'm using 2x Amazon Echos, connected to an AV500 powerline adapter.  They were working fine until yesterday, when they suddenly both stopped.  I went into the Alexa app to try and re-sign them onto the wifi, but my now my iPhone won't connect to the internet when tethered to the powerline, and the Wifi setting shows "weak security." Before this wasn't appearing.  The iphone setting includes the following message:

"Weak Security
WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) is not considered secure.
If this is your Wi-Fi network, configure the router to use WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security type."

I then went into my Telstra router settings, hoping to change the security settings, but neither of the configurations suggested above are offered - only WEP, WPA2 PSK and WPA+WPA2 PSK.  I bumped the security to WPA+WPA2 PSK, but the same message remains and while I'm connected to wifi, it's not connecting to the internet.  Any ideas of how to fix this?

WPA PSK uses AES. Change to WPA2 PSK. Do for both WiFi bands

Set it & forget it
