Arlo Security System slowing NBN services
Hi all,
Installed NBN acouple of months ago and have had issues with service dropout, and really low speeds. Haven't had much luck with Telstra NSN Fault line, settings changed every now and then along with a change to Smart Modem but same issues usually come up with loss of service.
Was going through these support threads and noticed an issue about Arlo base station (security system) taking up bandwidth causing problems, and a possible solution to apply a static lease to the Arlo base station.
Would be grateful for any assistance re how to get this issue fixed if it is indeed the Arlo system causing the slowdown and dropouts - tried Arlo but they referred me back to Telstra.

What model smart modem do you have (DJA0231 or LH1000)?

To setup a static lease for for the Arlo see section 8 of the document linked to this post
Another thing you could try is turning of PMF. See section 36
