Automated Call from PRIVATE NUMBER Claiming to be TELSTRA about Modem Security Settings

About an hour ago I received a call via my Home Phone (Yeah some still have them)(NBN Based) in regard to Security Settings on my NBN Modem.
The call was an automated thing as it was a computer talking, it explained in very short detail that there was a security setting on my modem that was a security issue & that it could help me fix it. It then gave me the options of 1. to get help fixing the settings, or 2. To just ignore it.
I hung up as I gathered that if it was TELSTRA then they would probably not use such a service to relay that sort of warning.The call did also come from a PRIVATE NUMBER according to the Caller ID on the phone.

So can someone confirm or deny that TELSTRA use this sort of thing?, as I know they are able to check modems remotely so maybe they are also able to check Security Settings & let their customers know when there is an issue...

Yeah its a scam

 

To be honest if a security issue was detected, the modems would just get the fixed pushed to them without any customer contact
