Bigpond outgoing server email settings for Windows Live?

Hi, I am trying to set up  a new email account on a desktop computer using Windows Live.

I have an email address associated with my domain name, and have used mail.mydomain.com.au as the outgoing mail server. 

It says to use mail.myISP.com.au as the outgoing mail (SMTP),  so I have used mail.bigpond.com, and outgoing mail (SMTP): 25

Are these the correct settings please?  Nothing is working ......

I would enquire with the supplier of your domain name as to what your settings should be.

Bigpond's default mail server is (currently) mail.bigpond.com on port 25, but I don't know under what circumstances you can use it (ie: IF you must use your bigpond email account to authenticate before sending emails).
