Browsing History Concern

Answered

Hi there, I have a privacy concern in regards to the Wi-Fi nbn.

I share the same Wi-Fi with my parents and the account to the Wi-Fi is in my parents name so I don't have any access to it or I can't even see what gets shown in the account. (We have a Telstra Smart Modem if that helps)

I was just wondering if it's possible for them to see all the devices that are connected to the same Wi-Fi. Can they view or even access the browsing history or the sites that I've visited?

Thank you

No they are not able to see the browsing history or the sites visited. The only thing they can see is what devices are connected. In order to see what sites are visited they would need to install a monitoring device on the on the network.
