Cable internet.

I’ve had cable internet at my house for over a year now and never had any problems. The last few days I’ve been getting big lag spikes and yesterday and today total drop outs. The WAN light blinks green. If I disconnect the cable and turn off the gateway max and unplug it, wait 30 seconds to a minute before plugging cable and power back in I get about 1 and a half hours of normal speed internet before it drops out again. I’m getting extremely frustrated. There are no outages in my area and my Foxtel connected to the same cable works perfectly.

Call 133933 - Tech Support. It could be possible that the rain / floods / bushfires have damaged a cable.
