Cancel NBN service during Covid
I have had a new internet provider for three weeks now but I am unable to call and day disconnect due to the high demand due to COVID-19
They say log on to 24/7 app and cancel that way.
There are online options of upgrading or altering current how do I cancel my nbn plan

You can't cancel a service online (not in the way you're thinking, anyway). If you ported your service across, then the porting process should cause the cancellation of your Telstra service automatically. You should just receive a final bill.
If the bill you receive indicates that the service is still in service, then you will need to send a message using the My Telstra app on your mobile (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen). If Codi tries to direct you elsewhere, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat to a human.
