Re: Cannot connect WifI Printer, need to disable privacy separator
One explanation says it pertains to the printer... not the modem. Your Epson manual should elaborate.
Another explanation says it means hiding multiple devices from each other on a network.
You may consider asking the specialist networking forum on whirlpool.net.au for advice...as some serious engineering and IT folk offer high level very specialist advice re networking is available there.
Thank you

Re: Cannot connect WifI Printer, need to disable privacy separator
If your PC connected by WiFi check that it is set up as a private network and network and discovery is turned on. Printer should also be connected to same router as the PC.

Re: Cannot connect WifI Printer, need to disable privacy separator
Looking at the issue you've got, we need some more information before we can provide a solution.
Can you please tell us what modem you are currently using?
When does this issue appear? (when connecting the printer to the wifi or before it is connected to wifi)
Is the error on your PC or Printer?
Hope to hear from you soon.
