Change of plan to NBN

We have the Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 box but have not long had NBN in the area. I swapped boxes a couple of days ago (to the Gen 2) and now our internet is terrible. I realised our plan was for older broadband so put through a request to change to an NBN plan.

Firstly, how long will it take to swap over? And secondly, the confirmation email talks about a ‘delivery’. Am I going to be sent another Gen 2 box and be charged for it?! I did use the option of ‘already on NBN’ when I changed my plan so assumed this would be clear I do not need another box.

Finally, I am hoping our 2 mobile phones connected to our account will come across hassle free as well. Nothing is mentioned anywhere in the email or on the app/website under ‘my account’.
