Coaxial to DSL
I have a what I think is a coxial DSL port and I recently bought a router/modem with an ethernet connection and no coaxial ports and I don't know how to connect it can you guys tell me how.

The only way to connect is using a coax modem. You cannot use a passive cable adapter. You can get secondhand Telstra Modems / routers that can be run in bridge node from about $5 at second hand stores or online.
Telstra has a CM450-1TLAUS cable adapter which is just a cable modem and has no router function. I don't know if you can purchase them separately but there available online
Connect Cable Modem to coaxial socket and WAN port of router to LAN port of coaxial modem.
