congestion at brisbane exchange
You get your connection fixed then they change the route again. What an absolute joke .

First real hop use to be 15ms not 30ms . How could anyone pay for a service that they keep changing ports at the exchanges and making it worst for the user.

Re: congestion at brisbane exchange
You might have a line fault. There is a hyge variation in some of the latency figures. Expecialy hope 8 and 9.
If you have an DSL connection could you post the line status and line stats located at
Advanced > Gateway settings > Device info > General scroll down to xDSL and
Advanced > Gateway settings > Device info > Statistics > WAN Layer 1 xDSL

Re: congestion at brisbane exchange
No line fault mate . I have 2 seperate lines coming into house. Bit have a different nbn connection on them . 1st is normal speed which is synced at 34mbps and 2nd has the speed boost which is synced at 42mbps. Both connections are totally seperate and both give same results to ping or tracert www.bigpond.com . Both first real hip is 30ms .
its congestion or that exchange has a serious fault which is limiting connections . The whole town of 25000 people will have same problem . I’ve talked to several mates all in town and all say there connection response times have doubled on first hop.
