Constant ADSL2 + drop outs, 2701HGV-W Modem


I've been experiencing the worst run of drop outs since Monday, some going for over an hour with the RED DSL light flicking on and off and not even attempting to connect. I've tried rebooting, isolation tests(which is work for a little while and then be disrupted again) and trying a different modem. The call centre told me it was my 2701HGV-W at fault but I was unable to connect using the D-Link 502T as well.

If you've used two separate modems and isolated the line, the issue will lie with the connection itself. This will (more than likely) require a field technician to attend the property to resolve. Have you advised our Technical Support area that an alternative modem has been tried?
