Data usage in the first month
I've just signed up and will be connected halfway through my bill cycle – I remember a change a few years ago with mobile data where you were given the full allowance if you connected/ changed plans within a billing cycle. Is this the same for home broadband? Eg will I get 2000gb to use in 12 days or will the pro rate the usage?

Re: Data usage in the first month
Hi danielunite,
@DrQ is correct:
- As the start of your new plan most likely won’t line up with your billing period. From the time your new plan is active, to the end of your billing period, you’ll see:
- A part month charge for your new plan
- A part month credit for any charges you paid in advance for your old plan.
- Your new plan’s full call and data allowance is available during this period
- You will also see an advance charge. This is your new plan’s monthly charge, billed one month in advance
Regards -
