Re: dropouts nbn

It could be an intermittent network fault. Heavy usage of the network should not cause the connection to drop out it usually causes the connection to slow down. Could you post your log files for the period just before and during first part of the drop out. the log files are located here.

Re: dropouts nbn

If you tap on Advanced, then Tap on Diagnostics and go to the log viewer tab there is a list off events. The events can be exported as a test file or you can scroll through the last 30 minutes of events and copy the events to a post.

The events will confirm whether it is a network fault or something else. If modem is dropping out there is a fault and the only way to fix is to contact support.

Re: dropouts nbn

I'm having the same issue. It regularly drops for 5-10 min, lights on Modem go green-yello-blue-green, and ive had many calls to Telstra. I am on nbn HFC and have the Arcadyan Gen 2. Telstra raised to their nbn support team and they sent dump showing drops, but never fixed it. Reported it again and they now say they will send technician to check cabling... which hasnt changed for years so i am not hopeful.

Re: dropouts nbn

Thanks for posting the log It does indicate a problem with  the NBN link and not the modem. It could be due to fault problem in the street cabling. The tap in the street could have got corroded resulting in an intermittent fault.

Set it & forget it
