Extending wifi range for a Thomson TG782T modem

I recently bought a plug in wall Belkin range extender (N600 Dual Band) from **bleep** Smiths to boost the wifi connection in my house (which I am having a lot of trouble with). I have a Thomson Gateway TG782T modem. I was wondering if there is another extender that is a lot easier to use and works better with this type of modem?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

G'day Hercules2210, and welcome to crowdsupport.

FWIW, I bought a really cheap extender from Aldi, and it works a treat. No issues, and I have it in the backyard shed.

You could use one of the "powerline" extenders.

And BTW,  I have to laugh at the profanity filter bleeping out the first name of a well known electronics store.

If I've helped in some way, a Kudos would be appreciated.
