FTTC NBN
Hi
I moved into our house 2 years ago and there are three phone wall sockets. I had organised to get connected to ADSL and the tech that came tested our wall sockets and informed us that we have no lead in cable. There is an overhead cable from the telegraph line in the street to our house but obviously it is not connected to the wall sockets somewhere. I started to look at what I needed to do but ended up just getting mobile broadband through Optus. It's served us well but now we have finally gotten NBN to the area (FTTC) I was actually looking at what I need to do to get connected. Spoke to Optus and they said NBN should have installed an NTD which they haven't. Spoke to Telstra about a lead in cable and they said to speak to NBN. Tried contacting NBN but haven't got a response yet. Does anyone know what the best way forward would be? Should NBN connect to the premises? Should I hassle Telstra for the cable to be connected?
