Home Broadband connectivity

Answered

We just got our broadband modem connected by a technician this morning, the signal and link are showing a green light but online shows blue. The technician said we have to log in to go online, but where exactly do we have to log in, is there a particular website?

You'll need to use your primary Bigpond email address and use its password. If you are unsure of your primary Bigpond email address and password, the Bigpond team can assist you via LiveChat here

I work for Telstra, but my opinions are my own and not that of Telstras

Re: Home Broadband connectivity

Firstly, what modem are you using?
Is the blue light an ECO light? Can you depress it and if you do does it turn green?

Re: Home Broadband connectivity

It's a Telstra Smart Modem- can't depress the light.

Re: Home Broadband connectivity

You'll need to go to 192.168.0.1 - log in - password is admin - click on broadband up the top - there will be a username and password field on the page, will probably say newdsluser@bigpond.com. You'll need to change that to your Bigpond email and use its password. If you are unsure of your username and password, the Bigpond team can assist you via LiveChat here
