How to Cancel a Technician Appointment
Last night I reported a problem with NBN. A technician appointment was booked for tomorrow.
Problem has now been resolved and internet is working.
I tried to go online to cancel the technician, but as it is less than 24 hours away, I can’t do it online.
Rang Telstra and their system recognised the open ticket and said something like ‘ we are working hard to solve your problem and can’t talk to you today‘.
Rang a couple of times trying different things to get through, but to no avail.
Just trying to save Telstra or NBN some money through a wasted technician visit.
How do I cancel this appointment?

Re: How to Cancel a Technician Appointment
You probably won't be able to get it cancelled in time, but you would need to send a message using the My Telstra app (blue icon, bottom right of Get Help screen). If Codi tries to redirect you, type "Speak to a consultant" and you should be transferred to the queue to chat to a human. It can take a few hours to receive a response.
