How to Portforward ?

Hi guys,

I just switched over to Telstra NBN 700 from Optus and i've been having a lot of trouble with gaming, particularly with Call of Duty Warzone, It seems im unable to connect to servers despite being online on the game account.

Anyway, one of the solutions that everyone says to try is portforwarding to this info here:

PlatformTCP PortsUDP Ports
PC3074, 27014-270503074, 3478, 4379-4380, 27000-27031, 27036

I have absolutely no idea what these means or how to do it, and the telstra interface looks VERY different to everything else that everyone seems to be using, so if someone could guide me through how to do this that would be greatly appreciated!

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you

Re: How to Portforward ?

There are two versions of the Gen2 modem. There is a Arcadyan version (LH1000) and a Technicolor version (DJA0231) See section 9 of the document linked in these posts for instructions on how to port forward.

Re: How to Portforward ? Username: admin Password: Telstra click login at the top navigation click go to advanced, click Firewall and when that opens click the Port Forwarding a little bit down below. Enter a name for the port forwarding something like "COD", something you can remember. You can keep it as TCP or you can change it to UDP, the ports you provided enter the port for the protocol type. I believe you can use TCP, WAN and LAN port 3074. You will need your devices Internal IP, If you're on windows you can press and hold the windows key on your keyboard and press the key "R", type "cmd" and press enter, in cmd type "ipconfig". You will see something like mine,

My computer internal IP is, this is next to IPv4 Address. You will need to add the IPv4 Address into the "Destination IP" box.

If you're trying to do this for your Xbox or PS4 open a new tab login with the login at the top, you will see the list of all devices connected to your network find your XBOX or PS4 listed in there and above the Device Name there is that devices Internal IP enter that into the "Destination IP" box in the port forwarding tab, click the blue "+" on the right side to add it then scroll down to the blue "save" button and click it, the changes might take up to a couple minutes or two to take effect.
