IP V4 AND IP V6 DISCONNECTED

GOOD MORNING

I have just received the smart modem Gen2( on friday). I am a new customer. When I leave the original credential in the PPoE settings(newdsluser@...) I have IPV4 connected but IPv6 disconnected.unfortunately I cannot connect internet.

If I put my credentials with my username and password IPv4 is disconnected and IPv6 as well.

Do  you know if I have to contact Telstra for this issue or should I wait until "sometime" for the connection to be validated by the provider? and how long it takes to be connected

thank you very much for your help.Regards

Why is Telstra having this problem? My gen2 does the same and my old gears are not connecting

Re: IP V4 AND IP V6 DISCONNECTED

What type of connection do you have.  The PPPOE settings are only used for ADSL connections. ADSL connections only have a IPv4 address on the WAN.

Re: IP V4 AND IP V6 DISCONNECTED

Message after windows diagnostic:

Your Broadband modem is experiencing connectivity issues:

restart your modem, unplug or turn it off

after all the light on the modem  are off wait at least 10 sec.

I did that same thing multiple time it reconnects to the internet .

then drops out of the modem again, same thing with my cameras.

Everything using 2.5GHZ cuts out except my brand new MacBook Pro

Man I am so tired of this, since I connected last month I only have this terrible issues .

All my security cameras are not connecting .

Re: IP V4 AND IP V6 DISCONNECTED

What model is your modem? The model number is printed on a label on the bottom of modem. If it is DJA0231 then the 2.4 GHz WiFi is probably faulty and you should lodge a fault.
