It isn't always Tesltra
Last couple of weeks I've been having intermittent issues on the NBN (FTTP).
The issues were temporary, the optic light told me that we'd lost fibre connection. Since there has been work going on around us, I didn't worry too much about it, until last week, when the optic went out for hours and hours.
Quick Call to Telstra, which included me advising the consutlant I had already done all of the technical things I could to troubleshoot (thankfully he looked up my call record and immediately escalated it). A few tests, and my cable was well below spec. Either it had always been, or something came unstuck. NBN guy booked for this morning between 8-12.00pm
NBN guy turned up today at 8.30, proved it was the lead cable from the pit to the house. He had to go off and get a colleague, so they came back, and at 1.30PM a new cable was pullled. I'm all back online.

If I've helped in some way, a Kudos would be appreciated.
Any opinions I express or advice I give are purely my own, and don't represent Telstra.
