Lag Spikes nbn

Every 10 minutes or so my latency will spike really high, ranging from like 200 to 1000. These spikes will last for like 1-2 mins. This has never happened before, and it started just yesterday. What is causing this, and is there any fix?

Suggest you install ping plotter and do a test to see what is causing spikes.

I downloaded the free version, im just not sure how this exactly helps. I dont really understand what its telling me. could you please elaborate on that?

Sorry about that other message. I did some reading on PingPlotter and i know how it works now. I can see that the problem is mainly lying in the first hop after my gateway. I know what the organisation is now. Should contact them about this? or telstra? Thanks again.

Should contact Telstra as the first hop is between modem and Telstra's central gateway.
