NBN connection

Hi, I had an nbn technician come to the house today to install nbn. We have nbn in our street but the technician said he couldn’t install it. I’m not sure what to do now?

When you placed your nbn order, Did you do it online or via the phone?

Did you receive any emails/text msgs about your transition to the nbn?

Were you given a case manager to help through the process?

Go to “get help”  then “track my order”

Did the technician say why he couldn't install it? Usually it would be because there isn't an available connection point, or some extra hardware needs to be installed.

 

About all that you can do it is to contact Telstra and to rebook the appointment and hope that if the NBN Co technician comes out and can't connect you, then at least they will tell you why, so that you know what to request next.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
