NBN Got real slow

the DNS and line regerstery spamMy internet has been slowing down for last 4 day
few drop a day where normal but speed would go back to normal but every rest that gets done has been slowly dropping the speed more and more

Have  you reported a fault to Telstra support. The fact that the the upload speed is greater than download speed indicates there is a line fault. The voice registration info does not indicate any problems as it is normal for the modem to check that the VOIP is registered on a regular basis and the DNS errors don't necessarily indicate a fault but the slow download speed does indicate a line fault.  It looks like the gateway has just been reset. Each time gateway is reset the line stats also get reset so this could explain why there are no problems showing in the line stats. It is common to have FEC errors on a DSL link. If there is a fault there would be re-synchronisation errors and or lots of CRC  and frame loss errors.

Would you mind going through some quick troubleshooting for me?

 

Can you try a hard power-cycle of your modem for me. Turn it off at the power for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then re-power the modem and turn on. This will force a network update through to your modem and will often fix issues such at this.

This will guide you through some steps while connected to your modem that will help diagnose any technical issues that could be effecting your services.
