nbn Installation
Just signed up to move from ADSL to nbn. Modem has arrived. Do i need to contact Telstra to switch over or can i just go ahead and complete the installation?

Have you been advised of an NBN technicians visit? Or did you opt for self install? If the latter, the documentation that came with the modem should indicate that.
Did you have an NBN service previously?
You should be able to go ahead, unbox and install the modem OK.. if there is no NBN DSL or other service available, then the modem will start up in 4G mode (steady blue indicator on the front) and it will work, maybe a bit slower than your expected internet service though..
